Founder’s Thoughts: Why I'm Proud to Support Sisters Circle San Francisco

There are moments in business that remind you why you started. Saturday, May 30th was one of them.

Sister Circle is a San Francisco based organization built on the idea of women supporting women. Their volunteers work directly with people in the community, providing essential resources and a sense of belonging to those who need it most.

I had the privilege of supporting Sisters Circle as they took to the streets of San Francisco to distribute 200 hygiene kits to women and men across the city. Watching their team work, the outreach prep, the bag-packing, the showing up, I was reminded of something I've believed my entire career: the most important thing a business can do is invest in the people and communities around it.

Sisters Circle lives that belief every single day. Their mission is simple and powerful — women supporting women. And what they did on Saturday was real. It was kits filled with the basics that too many people in our city go without. It was volunteers giving up their Saturday morning to help someone else.

San Francisco Is Personal to Me

I grew up in Hunters Point, San Francisco. This city made me who I am. Early on, I saw firsthand what it meant for an organization to show up for young people — to offer resources, mentorship, and a sense that someone believed in you.

When I founded Double AA Corporation, I made a commitment that as the company grew, so would our responsibility to give back. I believe that business and community are inseparable — that you cannot build something lasting without investing in the people and places that surround it.

Supporting Sisters Circle is an expression of that commitment.

To the Sister Circle Team

Thank you for your energy, your dedication, and for doing work that doesn't always get the attention it deserves.

The Double AA Corporation is proud to stand with you, and we look forward to working together to support the community.
